PREFACE
This special issue of Discussiones Mathematice Graph Theory (DMGT) is dedicated to selected papers presented at the 11th Workshop on Graph Theory: Colourings, Independence and Domination (CID) held on 19-23 September 2005 in Karpacz, Poland. The meeting was organized by the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Econometrics, University of Zielona Góra. It continues a series of annual international workshops in mathematics with a section of graph theory (1993-1997 in Lubiatów, 1998-2001 in Gronów) and CID in 2003. About 60 participants formed the audience of seven invited lectures
Michael A. Henning (South Africa) Recent results on total domination in graphs,
Gyula O.H. Katona (Hungary) Constructions via Hamiltonian theorems,
Tomasz Łuczak (Poland) Cycles in claw-free graphs,
Peter Mihók (Slovakia) Lattice of additive hereditary properties and formal concept analysis,
Michael D. Plummer (USA) Recent advances in several areas of domination in graphs,
Zsolt Tuza (Hungary) Satisfactory graph partitions and their generalizations (with C. Bazgan and D. Vanderpooten),
Xuding Zhu (Taiwan) Circular chromatic indexes of graphs
and 30 contributed talks.
The papers included in this special issue were refereed according to the
standards of DMGT. We would like to express our sincere thanks to the authors
for their valuable contributions, the anonymous referees and for
their commitment and dedication.
For and on behalf of the Organizing Commitee
